Wait — what does "perpetual" actually mean?
Exactly what it sounds like. Most SaaS affiliate programs pay you for 6 or 12 months and then cut you off. Harmonix pays you for as long as your referral keeps their subscription active — whether that's 3 months or 30 years. No lifetime cap.
How are the commission tiers structured?
We reward volume: Bronze pays 10% from your first signup, and every 5-15-50 referrals bumps you to Silver → Gold → Platinum (25% at the top). Your rate applies to ALL your active referrals the moment you promote — not just new ones.
What happens if my referral upgrades their plan?
Your commission goes up too — you always earn your tier % of whatever they're paying that month. A referral upgrading from $24.98/mo to a bigger plan takes your monthly commission up automatically.
When do payouts arrive?
Every month on the 5th, via Stripe Connect. Once your balance clears the $50 minimum you're paid automatically. Below $50 rolls over to the next month — no earnings are ever forfeited.
What if my referral cancels and then re-subscribes 8 months later?
They're still yours. Once someone is attributed to your referral link, they stay attributed. Even a cancel-and-resubscribe cycle keeps you on the payout.
Can I refer my own business?
No — self-referrals are automatically flagged and unpaid. But you can refer clients, colleagues, and friends without limit.
How is this different from the /reseller program?
The reseller program is for agencies who want to white-label Harmonix and manage their own client billing. Refer & Earn is for individuals — one click, one commission, no reselling required. Both programs can run in parallel.
